KATHMANDU, April 29: A total of 795 cases of rape have been registered so far in the current fiscal year, according to Nepal Police.

SSP Rabindra Prasad Sharma of Kathmandu said that altogether 1,131 complaints of rape cases were filed in the last fiscal year. At a security related programme in the capital city on Thursday, he said the number of rape case could go up till the last of the current fiscal year.
