KATHMANDU, May 15: Amid rising number of cases of COVID-19, Chandragiri Municipality of Kathmandu district has been sealed from Saturday morning.
The municipality, gateway to Kathmandu Valley, will remain sealed from 6 AM of Saturday to 5 AM of coming Friday, according to a press statement issued by the municipality.

Movement of both vehicles and people has been completely prohibited along with businesses. Government offices and financial institutions will also remain closed during the period. Only pharmacies and those catering health related activities will be allowed to operate.
Those involved in supply of daily essentials and sanitation workers have been asked to strictly follow COVID-19 safety protocols during their duty hours.
