CPN-UML ready to discuss national consensus government: Senior leader Khanal

KATHMANDU, July 3: Senior leader of the CPN (UML), Jhalanath Khanal, has said that his party was always ready to hold discussion regarding the national consensus government.

KATHMANDU, July 3: Senior leader of the CPN (UML), Jhalanath Khanal, has said that his party was always ready to hold discussion regarding the national consensus government.



Stating that the CPN (UML) Standing Committee has already passed this proposal, he urged all to hold discussion openly in this regard.



In response to a query on the decision of the CPN Maoist Centre that it would take initiative to form the national consensus government, leader Khanal said, "A national consensus government would create environment conducive for the implementation of the new constitution. The CPN (UML) is always ready to take leadership of such government or to hold discussion on its leadership." RSS
