KATHMANDU, March 31: The Election Commission has made public details of the parties registered for the purpose of the by-election to the House of Representatives (HoR) member scheduled for April 23.
The EC said that 26 political parties have been registered in Tanahun electoral constituency number 1 and Bara election constituency number 2 for the purpose of the by-election. The particulars regarding the registration of political parties in this connection for Chitwan election constituency number 2 have been already published.

The EC has decided to issue directives to the provincial and district election offices to make necessary arrangements to provide voters’ name lists for the by-election in the designated format.
