Madhesh has been completely cheated in budget for coming fiscal year: Yadav

KATHMANDU, June 1: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) lawmaker Pradeep Yadav has said that the Madhesh Province has been cheated in the budget presented by the government for the coming fiscal year 2022/23.

KATHMANDU, June 1: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) lawmaker Pradeep Yadav has said that the Madhesh Province has been cheated in the budget presented by the government for the coming fiscal year 2022/23. 



Speaking at a discussion on the budget in parliament on Wednesday, Yadav expressed his dissatisfaction over the low amount of funds allocated for the postal highway, which is the lifeline of Madhesh Province. He also urged Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to reconsider the allocated budget for the project.

Lawmaker Yadav also accused the ruling coalition government of attacking federalism by reducing the grants given to Madhesh Province. Stating that the government has not formulated any special project in the coming budget, he urged the government to reconsider its decision.
