Mukkumlung Struggle Committee stages protest demanding protection of Pathibhara (Photo Feature)

The Mukkumlung Tansep Chumpho and the Mukkumlung Conservation Inter-Party Struggle Committee have staged protest against the construction of cable car in Taplejung's Pathibhara temple in Maitighar, Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, March 19: The Mukkumlung Conservation Struggle Committee staged a protest at Maitighar, Kathmandu on Wednesday against the construction of a cable car in Taplejung's Pathibhara area.

The protesters staged demonstrations in the capital demanding the protection of the Pathibhara area, a famed religious site in eastern Nepal.

The protesters marched in a rally from Kupandol to Maitighar, where they staged a sit-in chanting slogans and holding banners as part of their demonstration.
