With 473 cases of coronavirus today, Nepal's COVID-19 tally jumps to 14,519

KATHMANDU, July 2: 473 new cases of the coronavirus infection were recorded in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said.

KATHMANDU, July 2: 473 new cases of the coronavirus infection were recorded in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said.


With this, the country’s total coronavirus infection soared to 14,519, according to Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the ministry.

"Of the newly infected, 364 are males and 109 females," Gautam said at a daily media briefing on the country's COVID-19 situation.


As of today, 12,636 males and 1,883 females tested positive for coronavirus, he said.
